1.Support the Technical Leader, Hull Section. 2.Prepare 3D Modelling for production information, including project definition and hull modeling set up
3.Arrange for Material Take Off
4.Manage and check detail design of external design consultants.
5.Manage and check technical information of external suppliers of equipment and systems and coordinate/cooperate with engineers from other trades in the organization.
6.To check drawings/documents and material list and ensure that they conform to contractual technical specifications, installation control documents, Classification and Statutory Rules/Regulations.
7.Liaise with customers.
8.To control and monitor the creation of part number and description of material/item.
9.To ensure equipment specification, installation control document and interface design specification are properly maintained, disseminated and use for preparation of design activities.
10.To advise Section Manager on work progress/status and shortcomings on technical issues on project under his charge.
11.Keep abreast with current technological developments and products.
12.Keep abreast with Classifications Rules, military and industrial standards relevant to design activities.
